Summer 2025: Live Online Small-Group Extracurricular Programs for Middle & High School Students by Elite Prep

Dear Parents,

Are you looking for a way to transform your child’s summer break into a time of growth rather than just rest?
We’re pleased to introduce a series of live online small-group extracurricular programs that bring together motivated students from across the U.S. this summer.

Each course is conducted live by subject-matter experts or faculty affiliated with top universities.
Upon completion, students will receive a Certificate of Completion, which can be included in their college applications.


📷 1. The Art of Photography

  • Grades: 9–12
  • Dates: June 21 – August 9 (8 weeks)
  • Time: Saturdays, 11:00am–1:00pm PT

Study the art of photography under a Yale-educated master photographer. Students will learn how to express creativity and curiosity through their own photo portfolio—an asset that can strengthen any college application through visual storytelling and personal vision.


💼 2. Business Case Competition

  • Grades: 9–12
  • Dates: June 16 – August 4 (8 weeks)
  • Time: Mondays, 6:00pm–8:00pm PT

Designed for students interested in accounting, finance, or management, this course covers financial fundamentals, strategic company analysis, and culminates in a live, college-style case competition. A perfect fit for aspiring business leaders.


🧠 3. Intellectual Colloquium

  • Grades: 10–12
  • Dates: June 16 – August 4 (8 weeks)
  • Time: Mondays, 4:00pm–5:30pm PT

Explore contemporary global issues, read university-level texts, and engage in critical discussions. Students will sharpen their analytical thinking and academic writing—skills essential for essay competitions, AP classes, and college interviews.


🗣 4. Introduction to Speech & Debate

  • Grades: 9–12
  • Dates: June 21 – August 9 (8 weeks)
  • Time: Saturdays, 1:30pm–3:30pm PT

Build confidence in public speaking and argumentation. Students will practice real debate drills used by top-ranked speakers, learning to give persuasive presentations, respond to questions on the spot, and lead classroom discussions.


➗ 5. Math Competition Club

• Grades 6–8

  • Dates: June 20 – August 8 (7 weeks)
  • Time: Fridays, 1:30pm–3:30pm PT

This track prepares students for national competitions such as AMC 8, MOEMS, and MATHCOUNTS. An excellent foundation for STEM-minded students looking to build their academic résumé early.

• Grades 9–12

  • Dates: June 14 – August 2 (8 weeks)
  • Times:
     • Grades 9–10: Fridays, 11:00am–1:00pm PT
     • Grades 11–12: Fridays, 8:50am–10:50am PT

Targeting AMC 10/12, AIME, and USAMO, this course develops problem-solving skills and prepares students to compete at an advanced level in math.


📑 6. Intro to Research

  • Grades: 9–10
  • Cohort 1: June 16 – July 12
  • Cohort 2: July 14 – August 9
  • Class Times: To Be Announced (Please inquire)

This 4-week program introduces the fundamentals of research writing: how to choose a topic, gather credible sources, avoid plagiarism, and organize a formal paper. Students will complete a full research project over eight sessions.


🔬 7. Research Proposal Program (Major-Focused)

  • Grades: 10–12
  • Dates: June 16 – August 9 (8 weeks)
  • Class Times: To Be Announced (Please inquire)

Tracks Available:

  • Psychology: Prof. Shin (Indiana EdS)
  • STEM: Dr. Bernal (Caltech PhD)
  • Pre-Med Track Available

Students will work closely with expert instructors to design an original research proposal related to their intended college major. This is an excellent opportunity to explore academic interests in depth and demonstrate intellectual curiosity in a way that stands out on college applications.


📝 In Closing

All programs are conducted live in Pacific Time (PT) and feature small-group instruction for active participation and personalized feedback. These courses not only help students deepen their interests but also provide experiences that can make a real difference in the college admissions process.
