Inclusive Environment

Welcoming community for students who may not thrive in traditional school environments

Creating a Supportive Learning Community

Understanding Individual Needs

At Elite Open High School, we recognize that every student is unique. Many students struggle in traditional school environments due to rigid systems, lack of individual attention, and one-size-fits-all approaches that don't accommodate different learning styles and needs.

Our inclusive environment is designed to address these traditional school limitations and welcome students who may not have found their place in conventional educational settings.

Our Commitment

  • Non-judgmental learning environment
  • Individualized support and attention
  • Flexible learning approaches
  • Understanding and compassionate staff

Limitations of Traditional Schools

Rigid Educational System

A one-size-fits-all approach to courses, graduation pathways, and college profiles based on students' initial placement. A rigid system that fails to reflect individual growth and changing interests.

Lack of Individual Attention

Limited individual attention and ongoing support due to counselors and teachers who only meet students at the beginning of the school year. Insufficient follow-up and continuous care.

Time Constraints

Simultaneous classes that force everyone to learn at the same pace. Students are confined to classrooms from 8 AM to 4 PM with limited time to dedicate to their passions.

Excessive Stress

Students experience extreme stress from cramming too many academic, extracurricular, and exam requirements into weekends, Christmas breaks, and summer vacations.

Limited or Unavailable Advanced Courses

Lack of substantial elective courses, career technical education, or advanced pathways. Restrictions on students pursuing these paths to protect school rankings and test results.

Basic College Counseling for 11th and 12th Grades

Families must independently find third-party standardized test preparation and college admission experts. Many students attend community colleges to demonstrate interest and competency in their intended college major.
